For me, all it resulted in was lots of choking. :(Joyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15508055288724286108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5900508021785297247.post-40774059706247557552011-07-10T21:31:29.303-07:002011-07-10T21:31:29.303-07:00Yes, it works for us! I take as much water as I can hold in my mouth, bend over as much as possible and basically touch my toes, then swallow the water in 3 or 4 swallows and poof! Gone, but the way you said does work more reliably.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03495796091157215318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5900508021785297247.post-55196842447142614922011-02-19T06:43:09.698-08:002011-02-19T06:43:09.698-08:00Yes, I've known this for a long time and I'...Yes, I've known this for a long time and I've never seen it NOT work. Sometimes you have to do the ear plug/drink thing more than once for a stubborn case, but in my experience, it has always been successful. But to eliminate some of the trust issues, YOU drink the water and have someone else just cover your ears *tightly*. I can't tell you how handy this was in school when a kid would get the "noisy" hiccups. I always sent them to the drinking fountain with a partner and VOILA! gone.jori-ohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17948522321422834903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5900508021785297247.post-53621099024536487072011-02-05T11:26:17.294-08:002011-02-05T11:26:17.294-08:00I have never tried it but I will keep in mind the ...I have never tried it but I will keep in mind the next time I get the hiccups.Starlahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14459047998731388220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5900508021785297247.post-21518657645325795322011-01-29T14:55:03.969-08:002011-01-29T14:55:03.969-08:00Never heard of it!
