Zion From Above

This past weekend was most fabulous. Rhett's family had a scrapbooking weekend from Friday evening to Monday and it was great to see everyone and get a little scrapbooking done at the same time. I decided to drive back out to Logandale Saturday night to go to a BBQ with friends and the following morning we were invited for a ride of a lifetime.

One of Rhett's friends called up Sunday morning and invited us to fly to Zion with him and his wife. It was GORGEOUS!  There was snow and lakes and mountains and red rocks and so many beautiful things to look at. I'm so glad that I decided to go back home Saturday night so that I was there Sunday morning.

Zion National Park from the sky.

My baby and me in the plane.

I don't know if you'll be able to tell from this picture, but if you follow the lake and imagined it expanding its shores towards the top of the picture, you'll see where I live. Yep, kinda scary. Hopefully the lake never gets that full, 'cuz from the air it looks like it would swallow the whole town!
