Memories...

Heather, you're such a trend setter. I love this idea and look forward to reminiscing...

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot; anything you remember is great!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about us, we'll assume you're playing the game and we'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

I get to be the first...One of my best memories of you was when you were little and we went camping out in Pauma Valley with Grandma and Grandpa Martin. We were all asleep in the motor home and you rolled out of bed and hit the floor with a loud crash...Grandma got all upset, but you were fine. You had a way with camping trips! Remember when your mom glued the wash cloth to your head in Glamas! I wasn't there, but I got to see the piece of washcloth stuck to your head LOL! What a goof ball your Mom is! My other favorite memory is your wedding day. I remember thinking how beautiful you were and how did you grow up so fast! You truly were one of the prettiest brides I had every seen.

JENI... I REMEMBER HOW EXCITED THE WHOLE FAMILY WAS WHEN WE FOUND OUT YOU WERE A GIRL, YOUR DAD WAS TO THE MOON, AND THE REST OF US WERE EXCITED TO WELCOME THE FIRST GIRL TO THE FAMILY. TWO OF MY FAVORITE MEMORIES ARE 1. THE YEAR OUR TWO FAMILIES WENT ON VACATION TOGETHER TO N.CAL (THE RANCH) AND OREGON. IT WAS ONE OF THE FIRST TIMES I REALLY GOT TO SPEND SOME QUALITY TIME WITH JUST YOU (NO BOYS), US GIRLS WENT ON SOME HIKES TOGETHER, AND STAYED BACK IN THE RANCH HOUSE WE TALKED, PLAYED GAMES, SANG, LAUGHED AND ACTED SILLY, I HAD SUCH A BLAST WITH YOU AND THE GIRLS. 2. I LOVED OUR GLAMMIS TRIP, YOU GIRLS WERE SO CUTE ON THOSE ATV'S, WE HAD FUN WHEN JUST YOU THREE GIRLS WENT OUT ON A LITTLE RIDE WITH UNCLE ROBBY AND I. ONE OF UNCLE ROBBY'S FAVORITE MEMORIES IS OUR GLAMMIS TRIP TOO, HE LOVED WATCHING YOU ON THE LITTLE ATV, AND HOW YOU GIRLS WOULD SCREAM WHILE RIDING WITH STEVE IN HIS DUNE BUGGY.

RHETT... WE DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE YOU OUT OF THIS. MY FIRST REAL MEMORY OF YOU IS YOUR WEDDING DAY, I THOUGHT HMMM, OK, SO HE'S TALL, DARK AND HANDSOME, AND APPARENTLY FUNNY, (I REFER TO AN ITEM ON YOUR TARGET REGISTRY... OH, THE FUN WE WANTED TO HAVE WITH YOU GUYS, BUT WE DIDN'T KNOW YOU WELL ENOUGH TO KNOW HOW IT WOULD BE RECEIVED) LOL. BUT IS HE GOOD ENOUGH FOR OUR JENI. YES,! NOW AS I GET TO KNOW YOU A BIT BETTER THROUGH WORKING WITH ROBBY, I LOOK FORWARD TO MANY MORE MEMORIES.
ROBBY IS COLLECTING A FEW SINCE HE HAS BEEN WORKING WITH YOU. (ALL GOOD)

I have tons of memories. One of my favorites though is making up our dances for the family at ALL of our family get togethers.

Another favorite is when we toilet papered the trees in Summerlin. It was seriously SOOOOO funny, but so lame too!!!!!

Oh dear, this is going to sound so weird. I have lots of fun memories of you but probably the first one I think of is one time when you and I went down to the strip to hang out. We were daring each other to do silly things. I dared you to dance through the cross walk as we crossed the street. Then you dared me to take one of those pamphlets those dirty men hand out on the sidewalks (if you don't know what I'm talking about ask someone because I'm not going to write it). Well as we walked by the guy didn't offer one to me so I had to ask him for one since I didn't want to lose the dare. I felt like such a complete perv asking him for one. Of course as soon as we walked by a trash can I threw it away. Good times!

I also remember every time we went to your house when we were younger I asked you for gum because you always had some in your room and we weren't really allowed to have it. How big of a dork am I?

So....better late than never, right? One thing I remember is when you would occasionally rollerblade over to our house and then hang out for awhile. The kids always loved when you'd show up (they still do!)
